From Manhattan:

Start at the entrance to the Manhattan Town Center Mall, go east on HWY 24 for 6.3 miles.  Turn north(left) on  Flush Road for 2.5 miles.  In the middle of an "s" curve, go west(left) on Walker Road(gravel) for .5 mile.  Ashwood Farm is on the north side of the road.  Look for sign and stables.

From the west(Ft. Riley, Junction City, Colorado)

Take I-70 east to exit 303.  Go into Manhattan on HWY 18, which turns into Ft. Riley Blvd.  Go until you get to the mall.  At the entrance to the Manhattan Town Center Mall, go east on HWY 24 for 6.3 miles.  Turn north(left) on  Flush Road for 2.5 miles.  In the middle of an "s" curve, go west(left) on Walker Road(gravel) for .5 mile.  Ashwood Farm is on the north side of the road.  Look for sign and stables.

From the east(Wamego, Topeka, Kansas City, Missouri)

Take I-70 west to exit 328.  Go 9 miles north on HWY 99 into Wamego.  At the junction of HWY 24, go west on 24 for 7 miles to Flush Road.  Turn north(right) on  Flush Road for 2.5 miles.  In the middle of an "s" curve, go west(left) on Walker Road(gravel) for .5 mile.  Ashwood Farm is on the north side of the road.  Look for sign and stables.

To fly in, you have two options:

1) Kansas City International Airport(MCI) serviced by all major airlines; fly in, rent a car, follow directions from the east to Ashwood Farm(2 hours drive)

2)Manhattan Regional Airport(MHK) serviced by US Airways only or private planes, rent a car or we will pick you up, 15 minute drive from the west


Equestrian sports differ from once a week activities.  To become a horseman, you must emerse yourself in horses and love the horse with all of your heart.
