At Ashwood Farm, we offer top quality horse care provided by a professional staff. We have two stall barns offering two levels of comfort and convenience for you and your horse.

| FEED and BEDDING
Ashwood Farm is a dealer for Buckeye Nutrition products. We find Buckeye to be the best products on the nationwide market. Although we do not actively sell these products, we had to become a dealer to offer them to our own horses. Buckeye is manufactured in Ohio, and there are no local dealers. In order to feed the best product, we became a dealer.
Our horses eat a ration of the following:
Grow and Win, a vitamin and mineral pellet with Cosequin and hoof supplement integrated
Ultimate Finish 40, an extruded nugget formulated to provide calories with out high sugar/starch loads
Safe N Easy a high fiber, low carb source of nutrient and caloric intake
Senior horses have a special feed of Grow and Win, Equate Gut Health and Ultimate Finish .
Horses at Ashwood eat primarily top quality brome hay. Some horses are also supplemented with high quality, first cutting alfalfa.
Ashwood stalled horses are bedded on shavings. We have traditionally bedded on wood shavings, but have found a superior product in paper shavings. They are shredded unused telephone directories. They are much more absorbent than wood or straw, easy to clean, contain no dust, and are softer for the horses. These are available for purchase by individuals for $6.25/bag.
Our foaling mares will continue to foal on clean straw.

Board includes:
feed, hay, feeding, bedding, stall mucking daily, turnout, blanketing, feeding supplements provided by owner, use of facility from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, horse laundry done by Ashwood staff, farrier scheduled by Ashwood(paid by owner), vaccinations scheduled by Ashwood(paid by owner).
