Introducing Ashwood's 2008 foals...
We will update this page with new pictures as we have them and as the foals grow. While we are content to raise and train our babies into adulthood, they are all for sale at weaning, so if you are intersted in a foal, please contact Mary Ann at 785-341-1789 or click here to email. Please do not hesitate to reserve one if you are interested in one of them. Last year's crop went very quickly! We also have broodmare leasing/in utero foal purchase from our broodmares.

Indulgence aka "Indy"
Indy is shown here at four months. He is by Wish, our BWP licensed stallion, and out of Lucy, a TB mare. Indy has Wish's trademark gorgeous head and great shoulder angle, and a very cool roan stocking on the right hind!
Isabelle

Isabelle at 16 months
Isabelle is by our stallion, Wish, and out of a mare by the famous Thoroughbred hunter producer, Castle Magic. Tragically, after birth Isabelle's dam passed away due to complications from colic and colic surgery. Isabelle is thriving with wonderful care from Grandma Della and companionship from Bo, a 28 year old Quarter Horse gelding, Isadora a yearling nanny goat and Yarule, Isadora's baby. Isabelle has an incredibly good mind, and she is a very beautiful girl as well. We expect her to mature around 17 hh, as both her sire and dam are this size, and she is our largest foal yet.

Icon is out of TB mare, Saffie, by Wish. He was born May 26, 2008. Again, Wish has stamped his lovely shoulder and head as well as a great brain!
Iris
Iris is out of TB mare Mega Slewese, and by Wish. She was born May 25, 2008. She has the classic "Wish" head with a beautiful Iris shaped star!

Macedonia
This beautiful filly is out of TB mare, Wind Reason, and by Wish. She was born April 25, 2008. The picture at left shows her shortly after birth, and the picture above is at 1 month of age.
